A Toolkit has been compiled to help libraries across the South East provide health information to the public.
Public and health librarians in the region are working with MLA South East to extend partnership working between the sectors.
This Toolkit brings together some of the best examples of good practice identified in a recent survey of activity in libraries across the region, along with guidance on evaluating popular health websites and ideas on how best to handle referrals between libraries. The review covered library collections, library services to the public, referrals, health promotion activities, and web sites used for health enquiries.
The toolkit contains:

Part 2: Health on the Web
