Collections for All is the national advocacy campaign being led by MDA in conjunction with MLA South East and a range of partners including the Museums, Libraries and Archives Council (MLA), Museums Association (MA), National Museum Directors Conference (NMDC) and the English Regional Agencies.
The aim of the campaign is to highlight the social, economic, professional and knowledge impact of good collections management in museums. Visit the Collections for All website to find out more about the campaign, projects, partners and how to get involved.
The Collections for All campaign aims to bring together compelling evidence of the positive impact of collections information management. Collections for All directly addresses the advocacy recommendations made in MLA South East’s Documentation Backlogs Study. The campaign’s aims are also aligned with the recommendations incorporated within the Standards and Stewardship section of the business plan for 2005-06, specifically by supporting regional and promoting national level solutions to cataloguing and documentation backlogs.
