Equality and Diversity

Our work will involve setting targets for equality and diversity within our programmes to encourage involvement by all.

Learning from the 2007 Bicentennial of the abolition of the transatlantic slave trade, we will establish best practice for museums, libraries and archives in supporting people to explore their cultural identity.

We will:

  • Work with new regional equality and diversity networks
  • Develop and implement a diversity and equalities regional action plan
