Setting up your Reading Group

Download the South East Libraries "Setting up your reading group" - a support pack for anyone trying to set up their own reading group.

This is a template, and should be checked carefully before circulating in local authorities. There may be contents eg: loan periods which will differ from authority to authority.

You are welcome to amend the resource for local requirements, however, please keep all logos intact, and acknowledge the South East Reading Development Partnership, and maintain the acknowledgements at the end of the document.

Reading Group Postcards
The South East Reading Development Partnership has just released a new postcard to promote library services to reading groups. Designed by a professional design company, and funded by MLA South East, Arts Council England South East and the Society of Chief Librarians South East, the card is now available to download as a PDF file from the bottom of the screen (3 versions are available). The card is intended to be printed professionally and used in public places like cinemas and cafes, to help libraries highlight the support, resources and expertise they can offer to reading groups.
